Business Background
Jon has succesfully run his own business for over 10 years. His work has run the gamut from advertising, PR, Web Design/Development to Event Creation/Promotion. One of his weekly events increased business by over 10 times. He sustained that profit level for the next 9 years despite agressive competition.
He's been featured in the Washington Post, Spin Magazine,
Boston Herald, the Village Voice, Honolulu Star-Bulletin, Honolulu Advertiser
and other press/publications. 
He also has deep experience in copywriting for both the Internet and print materials, including sales letters, sales kits, web content, Google AdWords and other mediums. His experience in web marketing has now past the 7 year mark.
Life in Hawaii
After years on the mainland, Jon and his wife decided to return to Hawaii. Both had grown up in the Islands and missed the warm community and unique way of life. Home again in Honolulu, they both have involved themselves in the life of this great place. There's nothing quite like it.
Like most local kids, Jon was a devotee of Checkers & Pogo. He even got to be on the show once. It still ranks as one of the great moments in his life, surpassed only by his wedding day. His wife, Austen, who went to Punahou School, paddles with the Waikiki Beachboys team and is a member of community women's groups. They are both members of The Outdoor Circle.
Jon graduated from Radford High School, then attended college at George Mason University, as did Austen, near Washington, DC. He graduated with a degree in English with a Concentration in Creative Writing. Jon paddles on the Waikiki Beachboys team and is on the Board of the Honolulu Chinese Jaycees for 2008.
